FROMS OF PRAYERS
FROMS OF PRAYERS
FROMS OF PRAYERS
Across the world, diverse indigenous peoples have nurtured their own unique creation myths, often populated with a wide array of spirits and deities. Guided by their animistic beliefs, they have developed distinctive rituals that embody their ways of life. The statues, masks, textiles, and ritual tools created for these practices reveal striking forms and symbolic patterns. This exhibition introduces the arts of prayer and devotion from Africa, Oceania, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Himalayas, and other regions of Asia, highlighting the spiritual and cultural expressions that continue to inspire us today.
